Balanced Bodz is a unique boutique Pilates Studio in Nelson Bay NSW offering Reformer and Matwork Pilates classes suitable for all levels.

Our program is focused on whole body conditioning. Each session will strengthen your core, improve your posture and increase physical energy and vitality.

We offer small group classes max 4 as well as Private Bookings 1:1 or 2:1 & private group pilates sessions which focus on giving you a more personalised experience to maximise the benefits of your pilates workout.

At Balanced Bodz we focus on each individual client and their personal needs. Concentrating on precision and correct technique we encourage, guide and support you through each exercise.

Our purpose is to help you get in touch with your body so you can achieve stronger, longer, leaner muscles and feel better about your body inside and out.

Holly Rutkowski

Holly instructs all of the pilates sessions herself. You can feel confident in the consistency and care you will receive in her thoughtfully choreographed in-depth approach to each and every class. Mindful of clients individual bodies and limitations, Holly will often adapt and adjust to maintain the well-being of the individual and any injuries they may have.  Holly was introduced to Pilates over 30 years ago after an injury that required her to strengthen her body and recover, so she could return to her love of classical dance.

Over the years Holly has been on her own journey of wellness. Studying nutrition, using foods, supplements and herbal remedies along with pilates as a way of healing, restoring and maintaining health holistically.

Holly is passionate about supporting people on their own journey to feeling strong, fit and flexible. Making others feel good about themselves and in their bodies is her primary goal.

Holly shares her love and knowledge of Pilates by guiding clients through low impact, functional movement which creates a connection between the mind & body. 

By building pathways to functional muscle memory your pilates session is designed to strengthen core muscle groups which help stabilise the spine, restore physical vitality and improve the posture. 

Matwork  

Casual Class $20

Our Matwork class is a great place to start. You will learn the fundamentals of Pilates and discover how to use your body in the correct way to activate core muscles effectively. These classes can be modified to suit all levels and will challenge even the more experienced pilates clients. We include small equipment including weights, balls, circles and resistance bands which are an optional extra for those who wants to increase the intensity of their Matwork practice.

Reformer  

Casual Class $30 

Come and enjoy a unique experience in our personalised Reformer classes.

Our Control class is purposely aimed to keep exercises simple and effective. Focusing on engaging correct muscles to build strength and improved posture.

The Progress class is designed to add challenge to those with some pilates experience and build on their repertoire. 

Joining our Elevate class you can expect to move at a faster pace with the occasional jump board, wunda chair and spine corrector exercises to take your pilates workout to the next level.
